  Description:This workshop provides an overview of the private sponsorship process for refugees in Canada. It covers eligibility requirements, types of sponsorships, responsibilities of sponsors, and the application process. The workshop includes case studies and group discussions to share best practices. By the end of the workshop, participants will understand the program and be better equipped to sponsor a refugee family.

  Description:This workshop aims to educate sponsors on their financial and settlement responsibilities when sponsoring refugees. The workshop covers legal requirements, settlement planning, available resources, and the role of settlement agencies in facilitating the settlement process. Sponsors will participate in interactive activities and group discussions to learn from each other. By the end of the workshop, sponsors will better understand their responsibilities and resources to support the successful integration of newcomers into their community.

  A workshop on calculating the sponsorship costs for Groups of Five (G5) and Community sponsors (CS) will explore some of the complexities surrounding the minimum financial requirements, which is one of the main reasons for G5 sponsorship applications to be returned/rejected by the IRCC.

• Calculations Matter Part two

  Description:This workshop is a continuation of "Calculations Matter" part one. Here participants will gain a deeper understanding of their legal liability and obligations. They will also have an opportunity to use case examples to learn how to do their calculations together in groups. RSTP will also provide helpful tips during the workshop to ensure successful approval as G5 sponsors.
