Please login to the BVOR Matching Database using the blue button above to place a case on hold or to confirm a match and for the most detailed and up to date profile information. If you are not an existing user, please register by also clicking the blue button above.

Please note that you cannot refer a family member or friend who is a refugee into the BVOR program. The BVOR program is only for refugees that have been referred for resettlement to Canada by UNHCR. If you have a family member or friend who is a refugee that you would like to sponsor to Canada, you can do so via the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) program.

Veuillez noter que vous ne pouvez pas parrainer un membre de votre famille ou un ami réfugié dans le cadre du Programme mixte des réfugiés désignés par un bureau des visas (RDBV). Le Programme mixte des RDBV s’adresse uniquement aux réfugiés dont le HCR a recommandé la réinstallation au Canada. Si vous avez un membre de votre famille ou un ami qui est un réfugié et que vous souhaitez parrainer pour qu’il ou elle se réinstalle au Canada, vous pouvez le faire dans le cadre du Programme de parrainage privé de réfugiés (PPPR)

Profile 26-0061: An individual from Somalia.

This 40-year-old has 1 year of education and experience selling shoes. She speaks Somali and basic Swahili.

 

Profile 26-0062: An individual from Sudan.

This 32-year-old has 4 years of education and experience as a shop sales assistant, crop farm labourer, cleaner and helper, and in hotels and other establishments. He speaks Arabic.

 

Profile 26-0063: An individual from Eritrea.

This 23-year-old has 12 years of education and experience as a handicraft worker, hairdresser, beautician, and driver. He speaks Arabic, Tigrigna, and Tigre.

 

Profile 26-0064: An individual from Sudan.

This 30-year-old has a university education and experience as a vocational education teacher, construction supervisor, shopkeeper, and writer. He speaks Arabic and Fur.

 

Profile 26-0065 & 26-0066: Two linked individuals from Sudan.

These two individuals are brothers (25 and 31). The 25-year-old has 10 years of education and experience as a manufacturing labourer. He speaks Arabic. The 31-year-old has a university education and experience as a general office clerk, electronics mechanic and servicer, and driver. He speaks Arabic.

 

Profile 26-0067: An individual from Eritrea.

This 28-year-old has 10 years of education and experience as a crop farm labourer. He speaks Tigrigna. This individual must be relocated to Brantford, Ontario, Canada where family members reside.

 

Profile 26-0068: A family of 5 from Syria.

This family consists of a parent (37) and four children (9, 11, 8, and 6). The parent has 9 years of education and experience as a housekeeper. The children have between kindergarten and 5 years of education and are students. The family speaks Arabic (one child also speaks Turkish).

 

Profile 26-0069: A family of 5 from Syria.

This family consists of a parent (43) and four children (19, 17, 15, and 13). The parent has 6 years of education and experience as a housekeeper. The children have between 6 and 12 years of education and are students. The family speaks Arabic (some also speak Turkish).

 

Profile 26-0070 & 26-0071: Two linked individuals from Jamaica.

These two individuals are mother and daughter (65 and 28). The 65-year-old has 10 years of education and experience as a security guard and street food salesperson. The 28-year-old has 9 years of education and experience as a security guard and sales worker. Both speak English.

 

Profile 26-0072: An individual from Afghanistan.

This 47-year-old has 12 years of education. She speaks Farsi (Eastern).
