Please note that you cannot refer a family member or friend who is a refugee into the BVOR program. The BVOR program is only for refugees that have been referred for resettlement to Canada by UNHCR. If you have a family member or friend who is a refugee that you would like to sponsor to Canada, you can do so via the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) program.

Veuillez noter que vous ne pouvez pas parrainer un membre de votre famille ou un ami réfugié dans le cadre du Programme mixte des réfugiés désignés par un bureau des visas (RDBV). Le programme RDBV s’adresse uniquement aux réfugiés dont le HCR a recommandé la réinstallation au Canada. Si vous avez un membre de votre famille ou un ami qui est un réfugié et que vous souhaitez parrainer pour qu’il ou elle se réinstalle au Canada, vous pouvez le faire dans le cadre du programme de parrainage privé de réfugiés (PPPR) .

PROFILE 25-0047: An individual from Ecuador. 

This 28-year-old has 8 years of education and experience as a driver and market salesperson. He speaks Spanish.  

PROFILE 25-0048: A family of 4 from Nicaragua. 

This family consists of a mother (37), father (46) and two children (20 and 15). The mother has 12 years of education and experience as a sales worker. The father has 5 years of education and experience as a farm labourer and machine operator. The family speaks Spanish.  

PROFILE 25-0049: An individual from Somalia. 

This 62-year-old must be sponsored with her daughter and grandchildren in Profile 25-0050. She has a university-level education and speaks Somali. 

PROFILE 25-0050: A family of 3 from Somalia. 

This family – a mother (27) and two children (5 and 4) – must be sponsored with Profile 25-0049. The mother has 12 years of education and the family speaks Somalia. 

PROFILE 25-0051: A family of 5 from Sudan. 

This family consists of a father (40), mother (29) and three children (7, 6 and 1). The father has 10 years of education and experience in farming and construction. The mother has 11 years of education and experience as a farmer and cleaner. They speak Arabic and Zaghawa. 

PROFILE 25-0052: An individual from Mali. 

This 27-year-old has 9 years of education and experience as a building finisher and in related trades. He speaks French and Pulaar. 

PROFILE 25-0053: An individual from Sudan. 

This 27-year-old has 12 years of education and experience as a computer network professional. He speaks Arabic and Dar Daju. 

PROFILE 25-0054: A family of 3 from Eritrea. 

This family consists of a father (27), mother (25) and child (4). The father has 10 years of education and experience as a bricklayer, driver and cleaner. The mother has 7 years of education and experience as a cleaner and miner. They speak Tigrinya. 

 

PROFILE 25-0055: A family of 3 from Syria. 

This family must be resettled in British Columbia. The family consists of a mother (36) and two children (8 and 7). The mother has an undergraduate degree and experience as a waiter, teacher, receptionist and travel guide. The mother speaks English and Arabic; the kids speak Arabic. 

PROFILE 25-0056: A mother and 2 children from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). 

This family consists of a mother (24) and her two children (8 and 5). The mother has 6 years of education and experience washing clothes and tailoring. She speaks English, Kinyamulenge and Swahili. The eldest child speaks English and Swahili; the youngest speaks Swahili. 

PROFILE 25-0057: A mother and 2 children from Burundi. 

This family consists of a mother (47) and her two children (13 and 11). The mother has 6 years of education and experience as a market salesperson. The family speaks Swahili.  

PROFILE 25-0058: A mother and 3 children from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). 

This family must be sponsored with Profile 25-0059. It consists of a mother (31) and her three children (8, 3 and a baby who is 4 months). The mother has 11 years of education and experience as a farmer and street food salesperson. She speaks Bembe and Swahili; the children speak Swahili. 

PROFILE 25-0059: An individual from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). 

This 30-year-old must be sponsored with his sister in Profile 25-0058. He has 9 years of education and speaks Bembe and Swahili. 

PROFILE 25-0060: A family of 4 from Rwanda. 

This family must be resettled in Windsor, ON, to be reunited with other family members. The 24-year-old mother has 10 years of education, and the 28-year-old father has 12 years plus experience as a hotel and restaurant manager. The children are 5 and 2. The family speaks Kinyarwanda.  

PROFILE 25-0061: A family of 4 from Tanzania. 

This family consists of a father (26), mother (21) and two children (a 1-year-old and a 3-month-old baby). The father has 10 years of education and experience as a stationary plant and machine operator. The mother has 6 years of education. They speak Swahili.  

PROFILE 25-0062: A family of 8 from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). 

This family must be resettled in Moncton, NB, to be reunited with friends. It consists of a mother (40) and her 7 children (20, 16, 12, 7, 5, 2 and a baby who is 5 months). The mother has 9 years of education, and her 20-year-old son has 10 years of education. The family speaks Swahili.
