BVOR Refugee Profiles
Below is a limited view of individual BVOR refugee profiles available for matching as of December 3rd, 2024 at 1 PM Eastern time. These profiles will be available for matching until 1 PM EST on December 17th, 2024.
Please note: the next set of BVOR profiles will be available for matching on January 21st, 2025 at 1 PM Eastern time and every two weeks thereafter.
Please note that the refugee profiles visible below do not reflect cases that have since been placed on hold or that have a confirmed match.
Please login to the BVOR Matching Database using the blue button above to place a case on hold or to confirm a match and for the most detailed and up to date profile information. If you are not an existing user, please register by also clicking the blue button above.
Please note that you cannot refer a family member or friend who is a refugee into the BVOR program. The BVOR program is only for refugees that have been referred for resettlement to Canada by UNHCR. If you have a family member or friend who is a refugee that you would like to sponsor to Canada, you can do so via the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) program.

Nous demandons aux répondants de s’inscrire ou de se connecter à la base de données de jumelage pour obtenir les informations de profil de RDBV les plus détaillées et les plus actuelles.
Veuillez noter que vous ne pouvez pas parrainer un membre de votre famille ou un ami réfugié dans le cadre du programme mixte des réfugiés désignés par un bureau des visas (RDBV). Le programme RDBV s’adresse uniquement aux réfugiés dont le HCR a recommandé la réinstallation au Canada. Si vous avez un membre de votre famille ou un ami qui est un réfugié et que vous souhaitez parrainer au Canada, vous pouvez le faire dans le cadre du programme de parrainage privé de réfugiés (PPPR) .

PROFILE 24-0175: An individual from Venezuela.
This 40-year-old speaks Spanish and has 11 years of education. She has experience as a pet groomer and stock clerk.
PROFILE 24-0176: A family of 5 from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
This family consists of a 32-year-old mother and her 4 children – a 13-year-old, 2 4-year-olds, and a 3-month-old baby. The mother speaks English, Bembe, Chichewa, French and Swahili, and has 12 years of education.
PROFILE 24-0177: An individual from Afghanistan.
This 30-year-old speaks English and Dari. He has experience as a machinery mechanic and repairer.
PROFILE 24-0178: An individual from Eritrea.
This 53-year-old must be resettled in Kelowna, BC. He speaks English and Arabic and has experience as a taxi and van driver.
PROFILE 24-0179: An individual from Iran.
This individual must be sponsored with his mother in Profile 24-0180, and be resettled in Vancouver, BC, to be reunited with friends. He is 28 years old, speaks English and Farsi, and has 12 years of education.
PROFILE 24-0180: An individual from Iran.
This 57-year-old must be sponsored with her son in Profile 24-0179, and be resettled in Vancouver, BC, to be reunited with friends. She speaks Farsi, has 12 years of education, and experience as a handicraft worker in textile and leather.
PROFILE 24-0181: A family of 5 from Burma (Myanmar).
This family must be resettled in Vancouver, BC, to be reunited with a friend. The family consists of a mother (29), father (31) and three children (8, 6 and 2). They speak Rohingya and Malay. The father has experience as an inland and coastal waters fishery worker and crop farm labourer.
PROFILE 24-0182: An individual from Colombia.
This 42-year-old speaks Spanish and has 5 years of education. He has experience as a tree and shrub crop grower and a street food salesperson.
PROFILE 24-0183: A family of 4 from Venezuela.
This family must be sponsored with their family in Profiles 24-0184 and 24-0185. The father (36) speaks English and Spanish and has experience as an electrical engineering technician. The mother (39) speaks Spanish and has experience as a waitress, sales assistant and receptionist. The eldest child is 22 and speaks English and Spanish; the youngest is 11 and speaks Spanish.
PROFILE 24-0184: A couple from Venezuela.
This couple must be sponsored with their family in Profiles 24-0183 and 24-0185. They speak Spanish. The husband (62) has experience as a metal processing plant operator and a heavy truck driver. The wife (66) has experience as a shopkeeper and sewing machine operator.
PROFILE 24-0185: A family of 3 from Venezuela.
This family must be sponsored with their family in Profiles 24-0183 and 24-0184. They speak Spanish. The family consists of a mother (40), father (36) and child (13). The mother has experience as a sales worker and sewing machine operator. The father has a trade diploma/certificate and has experience as a textile, fur and leather products machine operator, cleaner, and luggage porter.
PROFILE 24-0186: An individual from Ethiopia.
This 35-year-old speaks Amharic and Standard Arabic. She has 10 years of education and experience as a domestic cleaner and helper.
PROFILE 24-0187: An individual from Sudan.
This 29-year-old speaks Tama and Sudanese Arabic. He has experience as a crop farm labourer.
PROFILE 24-0188: An individual from Sudan.
This 26-year-old speaks Standard Arabic and has experience as a cleaner and package deliverer.
PROFILE 24-0189: A family of 4 from Venezuela.
This family consists of a mother (27), father (29) and 2 children (9 and 5). They all speak Spanish. The mother has experience working in sales and the father has experience working in construction and sales.
