(In-Person in Vancouver) Post-Arrival Budget Calculations for Private Sponsors (PSR Program)

From the moment the sponsors submit their PSR application to when the refugees complete their interview and medical examinations, many things can change in the refugee applicants’ situation(s), which in turn can affect your sponsorship budget calculations.

This in-person session will provide an in-depth look at the financial responsibilities that sponsors have once the refugees they’ve sponsored arrive in Canada.

The workshop will include:

*an overview of the current Resettlement Assistance Program Rates

*Post Arrival Financial Expectations and Responsibilities

*an overview of Rap Rates

*Proof of Support documentation

*and an introduction to RSTP’s Minimum Financial Calculator resource.

How to get there by transit: the venue is 10 minute walk from Joyce-Collingwood Skytrain Station

Parking: limited free street-parking, meter parking is available across the street from the venue, and paid parking at the Boundary Plaza.
