For many refugees, the IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) interview is one of the most stressful steps in the application process – and your sponsorship group can make a real difference in how prepared they feel. This session walks through how sponsors can support applicants before the interview, what kinds of preparation are appropriate, and how to set realistic expectations. Knowing your role in this stage can ease anxiety for both your sponsorship group and the people you’re sponsoring.
