Regional webinar, British Columbia: ‘SPO Networking Forum – Free Settlement Services Info Session for BC Sponsors’

As per their obligations under the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) Program, private refugee sponsoring groups (Groups of Five, Community Sponsors, and Sponsorship Agreement Holders) are responsible for making sure the basic settlement needs of the newcomers they are met during their first twelve months here.
This can be a daunting task, but sponsors don’t have to do it alone! Connect with a Settlement Provider Organizations (SPOs) and receive support from trained professionals.
Settlement workers complement and enhance the settlement support given by private sponsorship groups. By working together, private sponsors and SPO staff can improve the settlement and integration journeys of sponsored refugees.
