Greater Toronto Area: Settlement Services Available and Re-Opening Plans

RSTP, in collaboration with 4 settlement agencies in the Greater Toronto Area, is hosting a webinar on available settlement services and re-opening plans. The settlement agencies include:
1. Afghan Women’s Organization Refugee and Immigrant Services
2. CUIAS Immigrant Services
3. Eritrean Canadian Community Centre
4. Centre for Skills DevelopmentThese agencies will discuss how they are adapting to provincial re-opening plans, what new programs and initiatives have emerged during the pandemic, and what sponsors need to know if they would like to connect sponsored newcomers with the settlement programs in their area.
We believe that the sessions will be of particular interest to the sponsorship groups that have just welcomed sponsored newcomers or are expecting an arrival in the coming months. Please join us on March 23rd and share this invite with your contacts and networks.

G5/CS Post-Arrival Financial Calculations Workshop

There could be a new born baby, a new spouse etc. In these cases, how do you calculate the budget? How do you ensure that the newcomer refugees are receiving the recommended RAP Rates? This workshop will touch on those topics and will also touch on what sponsors need to keep track of when it comes to assurance activities.
