DESCRIPTION:COURSE DATES: 19 Jan – 22 Mar 2026 \nABOUT THE COURSE \nThis introductory course is for those who are interested in learning about the private sponsorship of refugees. In this course you will learn about the different types of sponsoring groups\, the Canadian immigration programs for refugee resettlement\, refugee and sponsor eligibility requirements\, the application process\, settlement planning\, calculating the sponsorship cost\, overseas processing\, and post-arrival responsibilities. \nParticipants will also be able to engage with the course facilitator\, and other participants\, and enhance their learning by participating in weekly video chat sessions and discussion forums. \nENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN \n1. Watch the Demo Video to learn how to create a user account if you don’t already have one. REMEMBER to write down/save your login username and password. \n2. Request enrollment here to be added to the course. You can expect to receive a confirmation email usually within 24 hours (M-F during business hours). \n3. Register for the Course Orientation Session here ( happening on Monday\, 19 Jan 2026 at 4:30 pm Eastern). DESCRIPTION:This hands-on webinar by the Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) is for new and experienced sponsors who want to learn about the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) program. Join us to find out what ‘Month 13’ is in the context of a PSR sponsorship. \nWe will go over the following information:\n*learn about Month 13 and when sponsors should start preparing for the transition to Month 13 of the sponsorship \n*learn about resources that are available to assist sponsors and sponsored newcomers during this transition \n*learn about the considerations that sponsors and sponsored newcomers should make when beginning to prepare for the transition \n*find out about the services that are available to sponsored newcomers during Month 13 \n*learn how to evaluate the sponsorship period. \n  \nRegister Here \nPlease note: this webinar starts at 5 pm Eastern Time and is one hour long. \n  \nAbout the Monthly Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) webinar series: \nThe monthly webinars are a 5-part PSR program webinar series where attendees will learn how to become a PSR refugee sponsor by going through the entire application and sponsorship process from start to finish. The webinars in this series can be taken as a whole set or individually as a refresher for a specific topic for previous or existing sponsors.

SUMMARY:National Webinar: ‘Quick Learn Series – IRCC’s post-arrival monitoring and assurance activities’ (For PSR sponsors)
DESCRIPTION:The Quick Learn Series are a set of short\, highly focused webinars about post-arrival settlement support for sponsors in the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) program.
