DESCRIPTION:This webinar is for private refugee sponsors in British Columbia\, including sponsors participating in the PSR and BVOR programs. Meeting all of the required settlement obligations laid out in the PSR and BVOR programs can sometimes be challenging for some sponsorship groups. \nThe good news is that sponsors don’t have to provide this settlement support alone. They may connect with Settlement Provider Organizations (SPOs) and receive additional support for the sponsored refugee(s) from trained professionals – for free! \nThese settlement counsellors are there to connect refugee newcomers with various services\, to provide orientation and guidance.
