Participants will learn how to manage sponsorship responsibilities when refugees move to a different community\, understand reporting and communication procedures\, and explore best practices for supporting successful resettlement after relocation. \nWhat exactly is secondary migration?\nWhen sponsored refugee newcomers decide to move away from their intended community settlement (where the sponsors live) during the sponsorship year\, this is called ‘secondary migration’. In this scenario\, sponsors have specific responsibilities and we have recommendations on how to address secondary migration even before it happens.
