DESCRIPTION:This virtual training session is the first workshop in a 3-part autumn series on Post Arrival Obligations for Groups of Five and Community Sponsors in BC. The second session will be held on November 26th. \n  \nIn this first session we will cover: \n The post-arrival support timeline \n The minimum amount of financial support that sponsors are expected to provide to refugees sponsored under the PSR program on arrival based on the Resettlement Assistance Program (RAP) rates \n How to use the Minimum Financial Support Calculator Tool \n Situations that may change the amount of financial support that sponsors are expected to provide once the refugees arrive in Canada \n An overview of sponsors’ settlement responsibilities under the program and how settlement agencies can assist sponsors with fulfilling these. \n Additional RSTP resources \n  \nRegister\n*This session starts at 11 am PST / 2 pm EST
