DESCRIPTION:[Français ci-dessous] Enrollment is now open. \nABOUT THE COURSE \nThis course is for settlement professionals and other service providers who work with privately sponsored refugees and their sponsors. \nIn this course\, you will learn the basics of private refugee sponsorship. You will also learn how to work effectively with privately sponsored newcomers\, their sponsors\, and other settlement professionals. \nThe course has five modules: \n\nIntroduction to the Private Sponsorship of Refugees Program\nThe Role of Sponsors\nRights\, Responsibilities\, and Expectations of Privately Sponsored Newcomers\nIRCC Program Assurance\nThe Role of Settlement Workers in Private Sponsorship\n\nEach module includes readings\, videos\, activities\, a quiz\, a discussion forum\, and extra resources to support your learning. \nThis is a self-study course. You can complete the course at your own pace during the 5-week course period. However\, you must finish all readings\, quizzes\, and the final exam before the course ends. \nA weekly online discussion forum is available if you would like to ask questions\, share ideas\, and learn with other participants and the course facilitator. \nVersion française à venir\nSi vous souhaitez suivre le cours en anglais\, veuillez retourner à la page précédente ou sélectionner le paramètre de langue anglais. \nSi vous préférez suivre le cours en français\, laissez-nous savoir. Vous découvrirez également comment travailler efficacement avec les nouveaux arrivants parrainés par le secteur privé\, leurs répondants et d’autres professionnels de l’établissement. \nLe cours comprend cinq modules : \n\nIntroduction au Programme de parrainage privé de réfugiés\nLe rôle des répondants\nLes droits\, les responsabilités et les attentes des nouveaux arrivants parrainés par le secteur privé\nL’assurance de l’intégrité des programmes d’IRCC\nLe rôle des travailleurs et travailleuses de l’établissement dans le cadre du parrainage privé\n\nChaque module comprend des lectures\, des vidéos\, des activités\, un questionnaire\, un forum de discussion ainsi que des ressources complémentaires pour soutenir votre apprentissage. \nIl s’agit d’un cours d’autoapprentissage. Vous pouvez suivre le cours à votre propre rythme pendant la période de cinq semaines.
