The RSTP website was launched in 2008 to support the sponsoring community in Canada with information and updates on private sponsorship of refugees (PSR), and changes in government policy and practices regarding PSR.

The RSTP website provides potential, new and existing sponsors with information and updates on sponsorship in an accessible and interactive way. It is also home to the RSTP eletronic training courses and an interactive public tutorial on Group of Five sponsorships. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor you will find information about forming a sponsoring group such as a SAH or a Constituent Group, the sponsorship process and training opportunities to learn more about refugees. You can also access a series of tools and resources to help you and your group in the sponsorship and (re)settlement of sponsored individuals and families in the post-arrival, country condition information and resources section of this website.
