It will be delivered through live-streaming of an RSTP webinar and will be in the Tigrinya language only. Topics covered will include: -Specific requirements for Groups of Five; -Eligibility and admissibility requirements for refugees being sponsored; -The sponsorship process; and -How to identify an acceptable proof of refugee status. Description: This free RSTP workshop is for groups who are preparing Group of Five sponsorship applications. The workshop will provide hand on and step-by-step completing the Settlement Plan and Financial Assessment from. Topics covered will include: the specific requirements for Group of Five Sponsors sponsoring under the PSR program; eligibility and admissibility requirements for refugees being sponsored by Groups of Five; the sponsorship process; which forms need to be completed; how to complete the forms; and, a step-by-step guide for Groups of Five Sponsors on how to prepare and submit a complete and successful application package with focus on the Settlement Plan and Financial Assessment Form. Description: In this workshop, attendees would learn an overview of the pathways to sponsorship, to gain an understanding of what it takes to complete a successful sponsorship, and to have the chance to talk to experienced sponsors and lawyers. In the afternoon part of the session, an attendee would work one-on-one with a lawyer to assist in his/her particular case.
